American Truck Simulator DLC Road Trip: Ford Release Date Revealed

The developers have prepared plenty of new content.

The creators of the truck driving simulator American Truck Simulator recently revealed the release date for an expansion from the Road Trip lineup. Alongside it, a new type of gameplay will be introduced to the game, allowing players to travel around the world in regular cars.

The first such expansion will be Road Trip: Ford. In addition to automobiles, American Truck Simulator will also introduce new game mechanics. Players will be able to take on courier work or transport vehicles using cars.

An Atlas system will also be added featuring a special interface designed to organize the process of exploring the game world. Players will be encouraged to visit points of interest, and as a reward for exploration, they can receive region-specific postcards.

The developers have released a trailer for Road Trip: Ford.

This month, American Truck Simulator will also host a special Cruising South Dakota event to celebrate the release of the expansion featuring the new state.
