Prime Video has decided to steer clear of A-list stars for its upcoming project.
The live-action Life Is Strange series from Prime Video has officially cast its two leads. The role of Max Caulfield will be portrayed by Tatum Grace Hopkins, while Maisy Stella is set to play Chloe Price.
For Tatum Grace Hopkins, this production serves as her major television debut, following a career primarily focused on the stage. Maisy Stella is predominantly known for her music, though she appeared in the series Nashville as a teenager and recently made her leading film debut in the 2024 feature My Old Ass.
The series will adapt the storyline of the original 2015 game, centering on Max, a student who discovers she can rewind time. Using her newfound power, she saves her long-lost friend Chloe from a fatal encounter. As they delve into the mystery of Max’s abilities, the duo begins investigating the disappearance of a local student, unmasking the sinister underbelly of their small town.
Charlie Covell is attached as the project’s writer and showrunner. Executive production duties are handled by Dimitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson of Story Kitchen, with Amazon MGM Studios spearheading the production.
A definitive premiere date and further production details have yet to be announced.
