Tracking down every sea shanty in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is the best way to turn your rowdy crew into a professional choir. While sailing the Caribbean is relaxing on its own, there’s nothing quite like navigating the high seas to the rhythm of classics like “Spanish Ladies,” “Fish in the Sea,” or the timeless “Drunken Sailor.” To fill your ship’s songbook, you’ll need to hunt down these 18th-century musical treasures hidden throughout the archipelago.
Below, we’ve mapped out the locations for these collectibles to help you round out your pirate repertoire.
[Editor’s Note: This guide is currently in progress. While we have documented 25 shanty locations, there are believed to be 28 in total. We will update this guide as soon as the final three are confirmed.]Finding Sea Shanties in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
Shanties, often referred to as “song sheets,” are essential collectibles in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Each sheet you collect adds a unique track to your crew’s repertoire, which they will then perform while you sail the Jackdaw. Don’t let the varying names confuse you—song sheets and shanties are one and the same.
Your crew starts with 10 default tunes, but the rest are scattered across the map. To check if an island or city has a collectible waiting for you, open your map and hover over the location icon; a list of available activities and collectibles will appear.

Every shanty location is marked on your map with a musical note icon. Once you arrive, look for a white, glowing sheet floating in the air. Be ready to sprint: as soon as you get near, the song sheet will take flight, leading you on a parkour chase. If you fail to catch it, simply move away and return to the spot to trigger a respawn.
