Alexandra Bortich to Star in Stalking Thriller Series “Poison”
Okko has announced the commencement of production for its latest thriller, “Yad” (Poison), featuring Alexandra Bortich in the lead role.
Bortich portrays Lera, a young woman whose life spirals into terror after an online encounter leads to a relentless stalking nightmare. The narrative follows her desperate struggle to be taken seriously as she seeks protection from both law enforcement and those around her.
Joining Bortich on screen are Konstantin Beloshapka, Rinal Mukhametov, Darya Moroz, Ksenia Kutepova, and Nikolai Schreiber. The series is helmed by director Roman Novikov, known for his work on “Black Cloud.” The debut season of “Yad” is slated for an eight-episode run.
Earlier this summer, Okko explored similar themes of cyberstalking in the series “Fake,” starring Anastasia Krasovskaya.
