1.4.3.1 Known Issues and Status Roundup – September 18
As we head into the weekend, we wanted to share a quick follow-up regarding our ongoing investigations and recent improvements. Here is the latest status report as of September 18:
- Proximity Chat Status: Proximity chat will remain offline throughout the weekend while we continue troubleshooting underlying issues. We will notify everyone as soon as the feature is ready to be safely re-enabled.
- REDSEC Matchmaking: Thanks to telemetry data and valuable feedback from the community, we can confirm that matchmaking has significantly stabilized following the release of update 1.4.3.1. We will continue keeping a close eye on queue health as a top priority over the next few days.
- Missing Weapon Attachments: We have thoroughly examined reports concerning missing attachments. Our findings indicate that this bug is strictly confined to the Firing Range and does not impact live multiplayer or REDSEC matches. Rest assured, we are working on a permanent fix.
- Vehicle Spawn Protection: We noticed some community confusion regarding unexpected “out-of-bounds” warnings in areas that previously felt safe to explore. To clarify, this is an intentional mechanic designed to prevent players from camping or blocking active vehicle spawn points. If you encounter an OOB warning in an open area, you are simply standing inside a vehicle spawn zone. This system ensures fair and predictable vehicle deployment for both teams. We appreciate your vigilance and are currently exploring ways to make this boundary much clearer in a future update.
- Incorrect HUD Damage Tracking in REDSEC: We are currently tackling a visual bug where damage numbers surpassing 100 fail to render correctly on the HUD during REDSEC matches. Please note that this is purely a visual glitch; the backend server calculates all damage accurately, and your weapons are dealing their full intended output. We are working on a patch to restore correct visual readouts.
- Missing Armor Hit Indicators in REDSEC: We are actively investigating an issue where armored players fail to receive visual and directional hit markers when taking incoming fire. A fix is currently in the works to restore these vital combat cues.
- Delayed HUD Notifications: We recently deployed a server-side adjustment to resolve sluggish user interface responses. In-game notifications should now deliver instantly once again.
- Sniper Rifle Zeroing: We have successfully identified the root cause behind the missing Zeroing indicator on sniper rifles. Because this fix requires a client-side update, we will announce the patch release date as soon as it’s locked in.
- Interdictor Balance in Gauntlet: We are monitoring player reports indicating that the Interdictor deals excessive damage during Gauntlet matches. We are preparing an adjustment to bring its damage output back in line with the intended parameters established in update 1.4.3.0.
Our development team remains fully committed to rolling out these solutions alongside the fixes outlined earlier this week. We will keep you posted as soon as new details emerge.
Thank you for your continued patience and support. Have a fantastic weekend!
