1.4.3.0 Known Issues and Status Roundup – September 16

Comment Views: 1

Following the recent release of Battlefield 6 Update 1.4.3.0 and today’s accompanying client hotfix on September 16, we wanted to share a status report regarding the key issues currently under investigation by our development team.

  • Disappearing Weapon Attachments: We are actively looking into reports concerning attachments vanishing or randomly changing since the launch of Season 4 Phase 3.
  • Battle Royale Matchmaking: Our engineers are still tracking down the root cause of the matchmaking irregularities. Because this problem impacts select regions and players rather than everyone universally, isolating the glitch has proven complex.
  • Proximity Chat Temporarily Offline: We have temporarily turned off Proximity Chat to examine an underlying technical flaw. We will notify the community as soon as the feature is ready to be safely restored.
  • Invisible Minimap Bug: We have successfully identified why the minimap disappears while a player is downed. A permanent fix is currently slated for our next upcoming client patch.
  • Deep Six Event Pop-Up Loop: We have successfully patched the bug that triggered the Deep Six Event info screen every single time you clicked the event tab. This prompt should now appear exclusively upon your initial visit.
  • Deep Six Event Contracts: The issue affecting progression contracts within the Deep Six Collection event has been resolved. The fix is live, and players will now properly receive their contracts at the correct tiers.
  • Delayed In-Game Alerts: We are looking into instances where HUD notifications—such as the scoreboard and hit indicators—suffer from noticeable delays. Expect further updates soon.
  • Javelin Anti-Cheat Improvements: Our security division has rolled out an updated version of the Javelin anti-cheat software, restoring full compatibility with previously unsupported Windows Insider builds.

Our developers remain fully committed to squashing ongoing bugs and are continuously reviewing new player reports as they arrive. We will keep you informed as soon as tangible progress is made.

We truly appreciate your continued support and patience.
