Xbox Reportedly Leaks October Game Pass Title From Konami
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse may launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one, as the service’s official account accidentally revealed.
Microsoft appears to be preparing another major premiere for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The official account for the service published a video featuring games tied to the subscription, and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse unexpectedly appeared among them, even though Konami and Microsoft had not previously confirmed its arrival on Game Pass.
The video was filmed during gamescom 2026 and later deleted. In the footage, the creator gave a thumbs-up gesture for each project shown, and the same gesture appeared next to Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, which may indicate its addition to the service.

If the post was not a mistake, the game will arrive on Game Pass on October 15, which is its release date. There is no official confirmation yet.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse returns to the franchise’s classic 2D formula with exploratory platforming elements and dynamic combat. The main protagonist is Rose Belmont, the daughter of Trevor Belmont from Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. The game features Medusa, Death, and Carmilla, and defeating bosses lets players acquire their Arcana to unlock new abilities.
