Xbox Names Console Frame Rate for New Fable
The upcoming Fable reboot will support 60 frames per second on consoles, according to details confirmed by Xbox ahead of its planned release on February 23, 2027.
The official store page for the game confirmed full 60 FPS support on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The same performance target is expected on PlayStation 5.
The title will leverage current-generation console features, including 4K Ultra HD resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) support.

The developers have not yet detailed how graphical modes will be configured. The game is likely to offer players a choice between higher performance and enhanced image quality.
Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027. New footage and details may appear as part of the ongoing Gamescom 2026 lineup.
