Woody Harrelson and Kristen Stewart to Play Father and Daughter

Variety has revealed details about French director Quentin Dupieux’s new project, Full Phil. The lead roles will be played by Academy Award nominees Woody Harrelson and Kristen Stewart.

The plot centers on wealthy industrialist Philippe Dumé (Harrelson), who tries to reconnect with his daughter Madeline (Stewart) during a family trip to Paris. Events soon spiral out of control: French cuisine, a 1950s horror movie and an intrusive hotel employee complicate their attempts to bond.

Sources say the comedy will partly evoke HBO’s series The White Lotus. Supporting cast members include Emma Mackey, Charlotte Le Bon and Tim Heidecker. A release date has not yet been announced.

Harrelson is set to appear soon in the third installment of the Now You See Me franchise. Stewart recently made her directorial debut with The Chronology of Water. Dupieux’s previous film, The Case of the Piano, was released in Russian cinemas in August.
