Observant viewers noticed a flail in the battle pass teaser — a weapon previously wielded by the Crusader in Diablo 3.

Back in the summer, data miners discovered a mention of a “paladin” within Diablo 4’s files.

Season 11’s launch date is unconventional: it will not begin on a Tuesday but on December 11 — the same day as The Game Awards 2025.

In addition, the developers abruptly pushed back the release of the ranked “Tower” mode; it’s now slated for 2026.

Together, these developments prompted many in the Diablo 4 community to speculate that Blizzard plans to add a new class for Season 11.
