Great news for music fans: this week closes with an outpouring of new releases, headlined by the much-anticipated soundtrack to Wicked: For Good.
Arriving exactly one year after the first installment of the film’s music — which accompanied the original movie in November 2024 — the Part 2 soundtrack hit streaming services on Friday, Nov. 21 through Universal Pictures and Republic Records. The new collection presents the score from the second half of the Broadway musical that inspired the films, and it adds two original songs: Ariana Grande’s “The Girl in the Bubble” and Cynthia Erivo’s “No Place Like Home.”
But the Wicked release isn’t the only notable drop. Tate McRae issued a deluxe edition of her Billboard 200–topping album So Close to What, which includes the Hot 100 hit “Tit for Tat.” Rapper BigXthaPlug — fresh from a standout appearance at the 2025 CMAs — released an expanded edition of his I Hope You’re Happy Project.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids returned with a five-track EP, DO IT; producer Tainy and superstar Karol G teamed up on the single “Ünica”; and The Kid LAROI shared a new song titled “A Perfect World.”
From blockbuster film soundtracks to deluxe reissues and fresh singles, there’s plenty to stream. Tell us which release you can’t stop playing by casting your vote in the poll below.
