Was Rogue’s Costume in Marvel Rivals Censored? Observant Gamer Discovers Cosmetic Changes
It appears someone was examining the heroine’s character model with incredible precision.
Recently, the developers of Marvel Rivals introduced a bridal-themed outfit for Rogue. However, following a recent patch, the player base discovered a subtle modification to the dress’s design.
A user going by the handle Coldshoto demonstrated that the updated version incorporates additional shadowing, making the skirt significantly less translucent and providing more modest coverage of her silhouette.
Coldshoto further pointed out that the physics of the garment have been tweaked; spinning the character model now prevents the dress from revealing quite as much as it did previously.
Interestingly, this stealth update caught many in the Marvel Rivals community by surprise. The most popular reaction came from user supah-saiyen, who aptly asked: “How did you even manage to notice that?”
Even with Coldshoto’s side-by-side comparison, many players struggled to spot the differences. While some expressed a preference for the revised look of Rogue’s skin, others argued that whenever a cosmetic item is altered post-purchase, players should be entitled to a refund.
