Warhammer 40,000 Novel Throne Questoris Announced
Warhammer 40,000 fans will soon be able to pre-order Victoria Hayward’s novel Throne Questoris, an illustrated and annotated edition of John French’s Cypher: Lord of the Fallen, and a special edition of Ben Counter’s Grey Knights.
Black Library has announced Throne Questoris by author Victoria Hayward, which lets readers step into the Throne Mechanicum. This cybernetic control platform operates an ancient war machine deployed to defend a dying world.

Although the noble scion Asrien Balathur stands just a step away from claiming the throne that is his by birthright, mysterious blizzards consume the land, and Imperial Knights vanish among ruined castles and devastated realms.
Petty squabbles among quarrelsome barons and pressure from the royal court are no longer Asrien’s main concerns. Madness rises from the planet’s dark past, and only the future king can hope to unite these lands against long-forgotten debts.
This is not the only Warhammer 40,000 novel that Black Library presented today. The classic novel Cypher: Lord of the Fallen by John French will be the next release in the line of illustrated and annotated editions.

Readers will get to relive the mysterious renegade’s escape from Holy Terra with a new introduction by the author and commentary throughout the text, complemented by brand-new illustrations that truly recreate the atmosphere of Cypher’s flight.
Ben Counter’s novel Grey Knights is also returning to Black Library in a new, suitably decorated special edition. This book serves as one of the best windows into the daily life of the Grey Knights chapter and their eternal war against the realm of Chaos.

A mortally wounded demon hunter banishes a powerful demon back into the Warp for a thousand years, but by Warhammer 40,000 standards, that is not such a long time. A thousand years have passed, and Ghargatuloth has returned to sow destruction, but he failed to account for one thing—an ambush by the Grey Knights, who knew exactly when and where their prey would appear.

Unfortunately for the knights of Titan, the demon’s return is part of a dangerous prophecy, and their task will prove slightly more complicated than simply shooting a misbehaving heretic. All three books will soon be available for pre-order.
