Last Chance to Claim Free Epic Games Store Game Today

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is currently available to claim for free on the Epic Games Store until 11:00 AM Moscow time, after which the game will return to its standard price.

Epic Games is giving away the updated version of System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, a title that helped shape the combination of the first-person shooter and RPG genres. Nightdive Studios handled the remaster, updating character and weapon models, animations, and controller support, while also adding modding support.

The story takes place in the year 2114, exactly 42 years after the events involving SHODAN on Citadel Station. The protagonist wakes up from cryogenic sleep aboard the starship Von Braun with no memory of who they are or how they got there. The vessel is overrun by mutants and deadly robots, and the fate of the crew remains a mystery.

The game features crossplay co-op, three military specializations, 50 achievements, ultrawide monitor support, and framerates up to 144 frames per second. To claim the game, simply add it to your Epic Games Store library before the giveaway ends.
