Singer The Weeknd Shares Monsters and Menu from Stellar Blade Blood Rain
New photos from Shift Up have surfaced online, offering fans another glimpse into the studio.
Singer Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, recently visited the South Korean developers.
He met with Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-tae, visited the motion capture and 3D scanning room, and shared a photo showing one of the monitors. The screens display a selection of artwork that players believe are concepts for the upcoming game Stellar Blade: Blood Rain.
One of the photos shows a main menu bearing the title “Stellar Blade: Blood Rain.” Judging by the images, the developers already have a functional build, although actual gameplay footage was not included in the batch.
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain currently has no specific release date or launch window. The developers have not yet shown any gameplay.
Following the release of an AI-generated clip, Stellar Blade: Blood Rain has drawn the attention of anti-AI activists. They are now closely scrutinizing promotional materials, while the developers maintain that the previous video was simply an experiment with AI technology.
