Stronghold 4 Release Date Revealed and Steam Demo Released
Players can experience the new installment in the franchise before its release.
Firefly Studios has released an overview video for Stronghold 4 and announced the release date for the real-time strategy game.
Chronologically, Stronghold 4 serves as a prequel and returns the franchise to its roots. The events take place in medieval England. Developers will invite players to experience the story of Penryn of Wethel, a simple shepherd “whose life is shattered overnight, forcing him to endure heavy trials and become a leader.” The campaign will feature 22 missions.

Stronghold 4 can be added to your Steam wishlist via the following link. Early access release is scheduled for December 7, 2026. This version of the game will feature “key mechanics and fundamental elements necessary for a full playthrough.” A fully featured battle mode with 8 unique AI opponents, free build mode, and a specially prepared series of unique battle scenarios will be available.
A demo version of the game is already available on Steam.
