Insomniac Altered Marvel’s Wolverine Mechanic After Player Criticism
Following player criticism and jokes, Insomniac Games has added an option to Marvel’s Wolverine that disables bright scent trails during story scenes while also fixing various bugs.
Insomniac Games has added the ability to turn off scent trails during story scenes in Marvel’s Wolverine following player criticism.
The system is designed to help Logan track enemies by finding important objects, but the bright colored trails in the air became the target of jokes. Players requested the option to disable them completely.
Previously, Insomniac allowed players to hide collectible trails and reduced their visibility. Now, Marvel’s Wolverine features a “Hint” option that lets players toggle scent trails on and off during story episodes.
Along with previous updates, players now have more control over the visibility of scents, audio cues, and Nightmare Roots in response to community feedback.

The update also fixes several bugs and issues that occasionally led to crashes.
