Free Steam Game Purgatory Arcade Offered to Celebrate Sequel Announcement

Players will be able to experience Pony Island before the release of its second installment.

Developer Daniel Mullins Games recently released a trailer for Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, announced a playtest, and launched a giveaway of the original game.

The project is positioned as “a phantasmagoric journey through time, mythology, divinity and video games.” The main character was a young nomad who planned to conquer the world, but a premature death condemned him to the “Earth Prison”: “Now you must escape the majestic deities of the underworld while retaining your sanity and soul.”

You can add Pony Island 2: Panda Circus to your Steam wishlist and sign up for the playtest via the following link. The release is scheduled for April 27, 2027.

Players have received the opportunity to add Pony Island to their libraries on Steam. The author describes it as “an intense game in false guise.” According to the story, the player ends up in purgatory, inside a sinister and malfunctioning arcade cabinet developed by the devil himself. The local Devil does not like it when someone successfully solves puzzles and “uncovers his unreliable programs.” Players will need to think outside the box to cope with the trials.
