British actor James Norton (known for “War and Peace”) is reportedly being considered for a major role in the upcoming Beatles biopics, according to Deadline.
Norton is in contention to portray Brian Epstein, the group’s manager. Each member of the Liverpool quartet will be the subject of a standalone film, with Sam Mendes attached to direct.
The ambitious four-film project has already attracted talents such as Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Joseph Quinn, Barry Keoghan, Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, Aimee Lou Wood and Mia McKenna-Bruce. Sony Pictures intends to release each installment in April 2028.
Norton recently appeared in Netflix’s “The House of Guinness” and is scheduled to appear in the third season of “House of the Dragon” next year.
