Walton Goggins will lead the action picture Painter, scripted by Derek Kolstad, the writer behind John Wick. He’ll be paired on-screen with Amber Midthunder, known for her role in Prey.
The narrative follows a young woman who has trained in martial arts since childhood. When criminals abduct her father, she leverages every skill she possesses to bring him home.
The film will be directed by stunt coordinator Garret Warren—recognized for his work on Avatar and Logan—marking Painter as his feature directorial debut. Acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron will serve as an executive producer on the project.
