Victoria Isakova to play Catherine the Great in “The Captain’s Daughter”
The streaming platform KION has announced a significant new addition to the cast of its upcoming series adaptation of Alexander Pushkin’s classic novella, “The Captain’s Daughter”: acclaimed actress Viktoriya Isakova.
Isakova is set to embody Empress Catherine II. She joins a distinguished ensemble cast that includes Oleg Savostyuk, Evgeniya Leonova, Sergey Bezrukov, Evgeny Tkachuk, Egor Koreshkov, and Fyodor Dobronravov, among others.
The production is being helmed by director Dmitry Litvinenko, known for his work on “Nina” and “Give Me a Show.” While the official premiere date has yet to be confirmed, fans can currently catch Isakova in the Okko series “Radar.”
