Vampire comedy “What We Do in the Shadows” gets a sequel

In a recent interview with Collider, actor and producer Jemaine Clement revealed that he and Taika Waititi are actively collaborating on *We’re Wolves*—the long-anticipated follow-up to their cult classic mockumentary, *What We Do in the Shadows*.

Rather than focusing on vampires, this new installment is set to center on a pack of werewolves led by Anton, played by Rhys Darby. While the concept for the sequel has been in development since the mid-2010s, Clement confirmed that he and Waititi are currently drafting the screenplay, though production timelines have yet to be established.
