Valve Supports Baldur’s Gate 3 Fans with SteamOS 3.7.17 Update
SteamOS development continues to respond to a range of community requests.
Valve continues to steadily evolve SteamOS (the system used on the Steam Deck and elsewhere). The team has recently rolled out update 3.7.17.
It brings several changes, including one targeted fix related to Larian Studios’ game: a problem that sometimes prevented the performance overlay from appearing in Baldur’s Gate 3 has been resolved.
Other notable changes include:
- Experimental support for waking LCD-equipped Steam Decks from sleep via Bluetooth devices has been disabled again while engineers investigate false-trigger issues.
- A bug that could block upgrades from certain older SteamOS builds has been fixed.
- An issue where the Discover app in desktop mode could cause update failures in some situations has been addressed.
