Valve Adds Six New Heroes to Deadlock in Major Update
Deadlock now features a real Baba.
Valve recently returned to the team-based shooter Deadlock and introduced a major update called City Never Sleeps. The developers have prepared six new characters.

The creators of Deadlock also updated the map and added a secret merchant named The Broker, who sells cursed items.
The health bar has been updated to display the player’s name, make tracking health points easier, and include an ultimate ability indicator alongside other parameters:

The shop now displays popular items, and the filter and build systems have been refined.
Pings have also been improved. For example, a map ping selection wheel allows players to communicate items they plan to purchase, and the system displays an icon when someone is typing a message.
The developers added more pre-match dialogue and over 10,000 non-ping voice lines.

The full patch notes are available via the following link.
Valve noted that a full progression system, hero personalization, and hideout customization are currently in development:
Unlike previous updates, where focus was placed solely on key elements, this year we are working across multiple fronts simultaneously. Many results of this work can already be seen in the fresh update. We are also working on other updates, including a progression system and hero and hideout personalization. We want the ability to adjust them or even change them significantly based on your feedback before the game’s full release.
Deadlock testing continues, and the game can be added to your Steam wishlist via the following link.
