PlayStation Details Major Game Releases Scheduled for October 2026

Famous franchises will soon return alongside a new wuxia adventure.

In early October 2026, Sony traditionally reminded gamers about upcoming releases. This month brings several projects from long-running franchises—Ace Combat, Call of Duty, Castlevania, and Star Wars—alongside Valor Mortis, a new release from the creators of Ghostrunner.

The October PlayStation release schedule:

• October 2 — A new installment in the arcade flight simulator franchise, which premium edition owners have already managed to access.
• October 6 — Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a racing game set in the Star Wars universe.
• October 8 — Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, a horror game from Saber Interactive where the developers intend to feature plenty of mature content. Playing as Aidan, gamers must unlock the power of the mysterious Genesis Configuration puzzle to rescue his girlfriend Sunny from the underworld of the Labyrinth.
• October 13 — Valor Mortis, a first-person soulslike action game that puts players in the role of a resurrected Napoleonic soldier.

• October 15 — Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, a 2D action game about monster hunters set in 1499: “Paris is engulfed in flames, and monstrous creatures suddenly emerge from the shadows.”

• October 20 — Mycopunk, a cooperative looter shooter where players must uncover the cause of “a mysterious planetary-scale fungal infestation.”
• October 22 — Final Fantasy Resonance, an action role-playing game whose creators want to show that “pixel art has no limits.”
• October 23 — Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, a new installment in the shooter franchise featuring a campaign centered on war in the Korean Peninsula. It will include traditional multiplayer and an updated DMZ mode.
• October 29 — Phantom Blade Zero, a wuxia adventure. The main character is accused of murdering his mentor, suffers a fatal wound to the heart, and now has only 66 days left to live: “Fight off assassins, uncover a global conspiracy, and protect what you believe in with your life.”
