[v0.9.4] Hotfix Notes

Greetings, Creators,

We are rolling out a new hotfix for inZOI to enhance your overall experience. Please review the details below regarding the latest adjustments and stability improvements.

Hotfix Overview

• Patch Date: July 9th, 2026
• Version Numbers:
  • Windows (Steam): 20260708.13735.W
  • Mac (Steam): 20260708.13729.M

Gameplay Enhancements

• Meal Preparation: We have temporarily disabled the automatic meal preparation feature during designated meal times.
  
  Note: This feature was causing inconsistent behavior, so we have pulled it back for refinement. We intend to reintroduce an improved version in a future update. Thank you for your patience.
• Autonomous Zoi Behavior: We have refined how Zois act independently. They will now engage in less repetitive conversation and demonstrate more context-aware decision-making when their needs are low.

Bug Fixes

Core Gameplay

• Resolved an issue where Zois would occasionally remain idle instead of engaging in autonomous actions.
• Corrected a visual bug where non-graduates were incorrectly displayed as high school graduates.
• Fixed a glitch that caused unfinished milestones to be marked as complete.
  
  Note: Milestone data that was incorrectly flagged prior to this patch may persist in your current save.
• Addressed a bug where switching between households in a multi-family save caused the game to hang on an infinite loading screen.

Create a Zoi (CAZ)

• [Mac Only] Fixed a graphical issue where the background would brighten and lighting would flicker within the character creator.

Stability

• Implemented fixes for various identified game crashes to ensure a smoother experience.

Important Note: To maintain game stability, all active mods will be automatically disabled following this update. You may re-enable them at your discretion once the patch is applied.
