Market analysts have dissected mobile gaming revenues for December 2025, unveiling the month’s most lucrative titles and industry trends.

Drawing on data from the analytical platform AppMagic, Mobilegamer.biz has released its rankings for the top-grossing mobile games of December. The statistics focus strictly on net income generated through in-app purchases, excluding advertising revenue, external web store transactions, platform commissions from Apple and Google, and the fragmented Chinese Android market.

December was characterized by a sense of market stability. The primary victor of the month was Funfly’s LastWar: Survival, which concluded 2025 with a commanding lead over its competitors. This marks the fifth time the title has surpassed the $140 million monthly revenue milestone.

Roblox secured the runner-up position. While the platform maintained a robust and loyal audience, it was unable to replicate its peak summer performance. December earnings reached approximately $118.5 million—an $8 million increase compared to the previous year—though it lacked the traditional surge typically fueled by school winter breaks.

Scopely’s Monopoly Go rounded out the top three. Generating $108 million in December, the game performed largely in line with its results from the same period last year. Analysts point out that a significant portion of the project’s revenue is processed through proprietary web stores, suggesting that real-world figures are likely even higher.

Whiteout Survival claimed the fourth spot with $106 million in revenue, holding steady compared to its November performance. Close behind was Dream Games’ Royal Match, which brought in exactly $100 million. Both titles, however, show a year-over-year decline; in December 2024, Whiteout Survival earned $118 million, while Royal Match pulled in $125 million.

King’s Candy Crush Saga continues to demonstrate resilience, earning roughly $83 million—a minor dip from the $87 million recorded during the same period last year.

Tencent’s Honor of Kings experienced a seasonal downturn, which is typical for the title. The MOBA earned just under $79 million, as its primary audience is concentrated in China, where revenue historically peaks during the Lunar New Year festivities.

PUBG Mobile is also navigating a period of lower-than-average returns. After hitting a high of $130 million in August, the game has seen three consecutive months of cooled performance. Nevertheless, it managed to claw its way back into the top ten for December, securing the final spot with revenue just exceeding $53 million.
