We are thrilled to unveil Bristol as a brand-new addition to our ambitious UK Rework project for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Our dedicated map and asset design teams have poured immense effort into capturing the city’s distinct personality, famous monuments, and bustling industries for virtual truckers to explore. Nestled in South West England, Bristol’s identity has forever been intertwined with waterways. Sprawling along the banks of the River Avon, it blossomed into one of Britain’s premier ports, spearheading advancements in maritime trade and civil engineering. Positioned near the Severn Estuary, Bristol also serves as a vital transit corridor toward South Wales, acting as a seamless bridge between English and Welsh territories.

Our digital recreation of Bristol is split into two distinct sectors: the vibrant city center coupled with its surrounding arterial roads, and the bustling harbor and logistics zones. While all current assets remain in early development, the progress on the urban core is already shaping up magnificently.

Drivers will soon navigate a comprehensive network of thoroughfares, including Brunel Way, the A4, Hotwell Road, Merchants Road, and the A4018. These pathways deliver breathtaking vistas across diverse urban landscapes, seamlessly blending cozy residential avenues and tranquil riverside panoramas with some of the city’s most legendary sights.

Chief among these visual spectacles is the breathtaking Clifton Suspension Bridge, gracefully spanning the dramatic Avon Gorge as a true symbol of Bristol. Conceived by the visionary engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, this monumental span has watched over the city since the nineteenth century and remains fully visible from select vantage points along the Avon roadway network.

Brunel’s ingenious legacy extends right to the water’s edge with the legendary SS Great Britain. Originally launched here in 1843 as a marvel of Victorian naval engineering, this revolutionary vessel is meticulously preserved within her original historic dry dock.
