Travis Kelce Says He and Taylor Swift Have ‘Never Once’ Argued in Two and a Half Years of Dating

Travis Kelce says there’s no friction at home: the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told listeners that in the two and a half years he’s been with Taylor Swift, the couple hasn’t had a single fight.

On the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce — posted Wednesday (Dec. 3) — Travis weighed in on his relationship after guest George Clooney mentioned he and his wife, Amal, have never quarreled during their decade together. When Clooney asked whether Kelce and Swift ever spar, Travis replied that they have not, noting the relationship has lasted only two and a half years so far.

“I haven’t gotten into an argument,” Travis added, later emphasizing, “Never once.”

The couple began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement this past August on Instagram with the playful line, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Clooney — a two-time Oscar winner who has been married to human-rights lawyer Amal since 2014 — told the Kelce brothers he tends to avoid arguments in marriage, reasoning that at his age there’s little point in sparring when he’s grateful for his partner and what she stands for. Travis listened appreciatively and quipped that he’s been “taking notes” from Clooney’s approach.

Kelce and Swift are preparing to spend their third Christmas together as 2025 draws to a close. Swift released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, in October; the record debuted with historic first-week sales and has held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for seven weeks so far. Also this year, Swift’s August appearance on New Heights helped land Jason and Travis a spot on Apple’s list of the best podcast episodes of 2025.

When Apple announced that recognition, Travis praised Swift’s presence on the show, calling her “just so magical.”
