Travis Kelce Praises Taylor Swift for Writing Song About Cleveland

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce discussed Taylor Swift‘s single “Cleveland!” on the Wednesday (Sept. 30) episode of New Heights.

The track appears on The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. Jason Kelce said on the show that he and Kylie Kelce listen to the song frequently. Travis Kelce praised the track while discussing sports teams in his home state, including the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Cleveland Guardians.

“Cleveland!” was released on Sept. 25 alongside bonus tracks “Patient Zero,” “Pink Skies” and “Babylon.” These tracks follow The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped in October 2025 and spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after opening with 4.002 million equivalent album units in the United States, according to Luminate.

In the song, Swift contrasts public criticism with her relationship with Travis Kelce as he guides her through his hometown. Swift and Travis Kelce married at the beginning of July and attended a Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks game in Cleveland in May. Swift included home video footage of the pair driving through the city in the “Cleveland!” lyric video.

Since the release of Encore, Swift attended the 2026 VMAs, winning video of the year for “The Fate of Ophelia,” and released a music video for “Patient Zero” featuring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
