Prime Video has unveiled the first trailer for Balls Up, the latest comedy from Academy Award-winning director Peter Farrelly (Green Book, Dumb and Dumber). The film is slated for its digital premiere on April 15.
The movie stars Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser as two marketing executives working for a major condom manufacturer. After their employer secures a high-stakes sponsorship deal for the World Cup, the duo heads to Brazil, where they host a legendary, alcohol-fueled bash. However, the situation rapidly descends into chaos. To make it back home in one piece, they must survive a gauntlet of vengeful football hooligans, local underworld figures, and crooked authorities.
The ensemble cast also features Daniela Melchior, Benjamin Bratt, and Molly Shannon. The screenplay was penned by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the acclaimed creative duo behind Deadpool.
