It has been a landmark year for the Nintendo community, highlighted by the substantial Animal Crossing: New Horizons 3.0 expansion, a dedicated presentation for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, and the ongoing festivities surrounding Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. Adding to this momentum, a fresh Nintendo Indie World showcase has unveiled a massive slate of upcoming titles and ports set to arrive on Nintendo Switch hardware throughout the year.

For those who couldn’t tune in live or simply want a consolidated look at the standout reveals, here are the most significant announcements, trailers, and launch windows from the latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase.

Blue Prince

The highly praised atmospheric puzzler Blue Prince is finally making its way to Nintendo hardware, launching today, March 3, on the Nintendo Switch 2. Players step into the shoes of Simon as he navigates the enigmatic Mt. Holly estate. The goal is to locate the elusive 46th room, but there is a catch: the mansion’s internal architecture shifts and reconfigures itself every single day.

Denshattack!

Denshattack! is a high-octane action-adventure title that defies logic, even allowing players to perform a kickflip with a bus. This fast-paced platformer tasks players with racking up high scores while battling eccentric bosses against a vibrant backdrop heavily influenced by Japanese urban culture. Arriving on June 17 for the Nintendo Switch 2, this version includes an exclusive train-themed skin.

My Little Puppy

Inspired by the developer’s real-life companion, Bong-gu, My Little Puppy is an emotionally resonant adventure. The story follows a corgi who has traveled across the “rainbow bridge” to the afterlife. After catching a familiar scent, Bong-gu embarks on a spiritual quest to reunite with his owner. The game launches May 29 for Nintendo Switch, with physical editions following in June. The Switch version also boasts exclusive, adorable cosmetics for the canine protagonist.

Heave Ho 2

The physics-based multiplayer chaos returns in Heave Ho 2. Players must physically link together, swinging and grabbing through hazardous environments to reach the finish line. One slip-up spells disaster for the entire group. This sequel introduces fresh mechanics, including gravity manipulation and culinary challenges, alongside the franchise’s first-ever 4-player online co-op mode. Look for it in Summer 2026.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault

While Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault sports a distinct new visual style, the core gameplay loop remains as addictive as ever. By night, players delve into dangerous vaults to scavenge rare loot; by day, they manage a storefront to sell their finds to the local populace. This hybrid shop-sim and dungeon crawler is slated for a 2026 release on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Woodo

Capture the essence of childhood wonder in Woodo, a diorama-based puzzle experience. Players piece together intricate scenes featuring Foxy and Ben the frog, functioning much like a 3D storybook that unfolds as you build. This cozy, narrative-driven title is expected to arrive on Nintendo Switch systems in Summer 2026.

Minishoot’ Adventures

Blending classic 8-bit exploration with modern twin-stick shooting, Minishoot’ Adventures offers a unique genre mashup. Pilot a customizable starship across diverse landscapes, engaging in bullet-hell encounters and rescuing trapped companions. The game is available starting today, March 3, for the Nintendo Switch.

The Midnight Walk

The Midnight Walk presents a striking “cozy horror” aesthetic, featuring a world meticulously crafted from stop-motion clay. This title balances narrative exploration with environmental puzzles as players journey through a beautifully haunting landscape. It is set to debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 on March 26.

Rotwood

From the developers known for deep mechanical combat comes Rotwood, a side-scrolling brawler that fuses fighting game precision with roguelite progression. Players can team up with two others to clear infested forests, experimenting with various equipment synergies and combat archetypes. Rotwood launches today, March 3, as a console exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2.

Mixtape

The highly anticipated Mixtape has secured a release date of May 7 on the Nintendo Switch 2. Created by the team behind The Artful Escape, this coming-of-age narrative chronicles a teenager’s final night in her hometown. The experience is delivered through nostalgic vignettes and minigames, underscored by a stellar licensed soundtrack featuring legendary acts like The Smashing Pumpkins and Devo.

Blighted

The creators of Guacamelee have revealed Blighted, an exploration-heavy action RPG. Set in a psychedelic Western world, players must defeat the Sorcisto to cleanse the land of a corrupting “Blight.” This mechanic creates a risk-reward system: the more Blight you carry, the more formidable your foes become. Supporting 2-player co-op, Blighted is scheduled for Fall 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2.

Deadzone: Rogue

Deadzone: Rogue is a sci-fi first-person shooter with roguelite elements, emphasizing tense atmosphere and precision shooting. Set aboard a derelict space station, the game supports the new Joy-Con 2 mouse-aiming feature. Every run provides opportunities for permanent character growth and skill unlocks.
