Tom Cruise Supports “Odyssey” in Theaters
Mission: Impossible icon Tom Cruise has taken to social media to share his glowing endorsement of Christopher Nolan’s latest feature, The Odyssey.
“Wow! Thank you to Chris, Emma [Thomas, producer], and your entire brilliant cast and crew. Thank you for such an incredible night at the cinema. I can’t wait to see it again!”
— Cruise gushed in his post. While the actor has yet to collaborate with Nolan on a project, he has consistently championed the director’s previous works, including Tenet and Oppenheimer, in similar displays of support for the theatrical experience.
The Odyssey makes its global debut in theaters this week. The adaptation of Homer’s epic poem boasts an all-star ensemble cast featuring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Robert Pattinson. The film has already garnered widespread critical acclaim, currently holding a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 89/100 score on Metacritic.
Later this year, Cruise is set to return to the big screen in Digger, a disaster-comedy directed by Birdman filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu.
