Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez to Voice Lead Characters in “Not Alone” Animated Film
Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez are set to lend their voices to the lead characters in Illumination’s upcoming original animated feature, Not Alone.
Chalamet will portray Joe, a reclusive rocket mechanic who prefers a solitary lifestyle, while Gomez will voice Fran, an astrobotanist pioneering the development of the first plant-fueled spacecraft. Their awkward romantic trajectory is further complicated by the arrival of three pint-sized extraterrestrials (voiced by Rob Brydon, Diane Morgan, and Jamie Demetriou) who are hiding from the relentless intergalactic officer Zandro, played by Brett Goldstein.
The film is directed by Eric Guillon, renowned for his contributions to the Despicable Me and Minions franchises. Not Alone is scheduled for theatrical release on April 16, 2027.
