Tides of Annihilation Developers to Show First Story Trailer at Gamescom
Eclipse Glow Games announced that its action game Tides of Annihilation will receive a new story trailer during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. The presentation is scheduled for August 25, and attendees will also be able to try the game in person through a series of live demonstrations.
In a published teaser, the studio included the cryptic phrase: “Under the throne, embers still smolder.” The upcoming trailer may shed light on King Arthur’s role in the narrative and how the legends of the Knights of the Round Table tie into the otherworldly invasion.

Tides of Annihilation is set in a modern-day London that has fallen under invasion from another dimension. The protagonist, Gwendolyn, shares a connection to Arthurian legend and sets out across the devastated city to rescue her family.
Gwendolyn fights alongside spectral manifestations of the Knights of the Round Table, summoning them into battle to defeat enemies. Players will be able to configure two separate equipment loadouts and deploy up to four different knights simultaneously.
