“The Wizard of the Kremlin” Gets Digital Release Date
The thriller The Wizard of the Kremlin, starring Jude Law, is set to arrive on international digital platforms on June 16, according to the tracking portal WhenToStream.
Directed by French filmmaker Olivier Assayas, the film made its debut in the competition lineup at the 2025 Venice Film Festival. The project is a cinematic adaptation of Giuliano da Empoli’s acclaimed novel of the same name. The narrative follows Vadim Baranov (played by Paul Dano), a fictional political strategist who begins collaborating with Vladimir Putin (Law) during the early stages of his rise to power.
The supporting cast features Alicia Vikander, Tom Sturridge, Jeffrey Wright, and others. Upon its release, the film received a lukewarm reception from critics, currently holding a 44% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
