The Wiggles Address Backlash Over Keli Holiday’s ‘Ecstasy’ TikTok

The Wiggles Respond After Edited TikTok Clip Raises Concerns

The Wiggles have issued a public statement after a TikTok clip featuring the children’s group alongside Keli Holiday — the solo project of Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde — was removed from social media following complaints from parents.

The now-deleted clip, first reported by
News.com.au,
showed Blue Wiggle Anthony Field and his nephew Dominic Field — who appears as The Tree of Wisdom — dancing behind Holiday while he promoted his single “Ecstasy.” Critics pointed to the song’s chorus, which references “ecstasy,” and said the pairing blurred the line between family entertainment and adult-themed material.

The clip followed Holiday’s appearance at the 2025 TikTok Awards on Nov. 26, where The Wiggles joined him onstage for a performance of his track “Dancing2.” During that set Anthony played the bagpipes and Dominic performed alongside Holiday and broadcaster Abbie Chatfield.

After the TikTok began circulating, a spokesperson for The Wiggles told
The West Australian
that the group “does not support or condone the use of drugs in any form,” and clarified the footage appearing online was not produced or approved by them.

“We recognise that a video circulating on social media has caused concern among parents and professionals,” the statement read. “The Wiggles do not support or condone the use of drugs in any form. The content being shared was not created or approved by us, and we have requested its removal.”

The statement added that while Holiday is a long-time friend of the group, the music was added to the clip after the TikTok Awards appearance and was not authorised by The Wiggles. “Our performance at the TikTok Awards was family-friendly and celebratory,” the spokesperson said, “and the edited clip does not reflect our intent or approval.”

The group closed by reaffirming their dedication to families: “We deeply value the trust parents place in us and remain committed to producing safe, positive, and educational experiences for children and families in Australia and abroad.”

Holiday released “Ecstasy” earlier this month, describing it as a spontaneous idea that emerged during sessions with Golden Features and Belgian vocalist Romanie, with the final production completed by Konstantin Kersting.
