The Simpsons Invade Fortnite as Springfield Takes Over the Island
Fortnite is preparing a mini-season that appears to borrow heavily from The Simpsons. Right now, players logging in can spot a tiny tree sprig in the northwest corner of the Creepy Camps area. Leaked posts indicate this sprout will eventually grow into Bart Simpson’s iconic treehouse. Other leaks suggest this is just the opening move in a larger plan to transform the island into Springfield, the Simpsons’ hometown. Those leaks claim the full map could adopt Springfield’s layout and look.
If you want to locate the sprig, see the screenshot below:

Naturally, players are already flocking to Creepy Camps to investigate the new growth, so exercise caution if you decide to drop in.
Epic hasn’t confirmed full details, but leaks have revealed concept assets that map out a Springfield-like island and hint at a rare in-match encounter. According to leaks, alien duo Kang and Kodos may occasionally appear during matches; they seem to materialize briefly and then vanish rather than offering a full interaction. The leaked assets also show a TV inside the treehouse that would broadcast teasers for the mini-season — a mechanic Fortnite commonly uses to signal quests and upcoming events. The Kang and Kodos leak provides more context.

In addition, Fortnite characters are reportedly getting Simpsons-styled variants (Peely already fits the color palette), and the entire island may be retextured into a cel-shaded Springfield featuring landmarks like Moe’s Tavern and Homer’s power plant. Leaked images circulate supporting those assertions.
If true, this would be one of Fortnite’s most elaborate crossovers: a full map conversion rather than the usual assortment of themed skins and items. The initial sprig’s cel-shaded look — visually distinct from the game’s standard art — gives the leaks additional plausibility.
Reports currently place the The Simpsons mini-season launch in early November 2025, with the rollout likely accelerating in the days leading up to the debut.
