The feature film “War Machine” and the series “His & Hers” have topped the charts as the most-watched Netflix titles for the first half of 2026, according to official viewership data released by the streaming giant.
“War Machine,” starring Alan Ritchson, amassed 146.9 million views. Directed by Patrick Hughes, this science-fiction action flick follows a military engineer who finds himself battling a colossal robot wreaking havoc on fresh recruits. Netflix is currently in the process of developing a sequel.
Rounding out the top five most popular films were “Tasty Morsel,” “The Swapped,” “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” and “The Summit,” all of which surpassed the 100 million view milestone.
The thriller “His & Hers,” featuring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson, debuted in January and has since garnered 104 million views. Following closely in second place is the fourth season of “Bridgerton” (100.2 million views). Other notable entries in the rankings include “I Will Find You,” the final season of “Stranger Things,” and the British mystery series “Run Away!”
“His & Hers” serves as an adaptation of Alice Feeney’s novel. The plot centers on a journalist investigating the murder of a childhood friend in her hometown, with her own ex-husband becoming a primary suspect. While the series received a mixed reception from critics, Netflix has yet to confirm plans for a second season.
