“The Mandalorian & Grogu” to be released online by the end of July
According to recent reports, the Star Wars blockbuster “The Mandalorian & Grogu” is set to make its digital debut on international streaming platforms on July 21.
This date will also see the digital release of Steven Spielberg’s “The Unmasking” alongside “Scary Movie 6.” “The Mandalorian & Grogu” serves as a feature-length continuation of the acclaimed Disney+ series starring Pedro Pascal. In this latest installment, the bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pascal) and his inseparable companion, Grogu, embark on yet another perilous journey.
Directed by Jon Favreau, the film arrived in theaters this past May, grossing $340 million against a production budget of $160 million (marketing costs excluded). The ensemble cast features Pascal alongside Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Martin Scorsese. However, the film received a lukewarm reception from critics, currently holding a 60% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
