Russian distributor Volga will release “The Maid” starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. The film is slated to premiere on January 8, 2026.
The story, adapted from Frida McFadden’s novel, centers on Molly, a young woman who accepts a position as a housekeeper for the wealthy Winchester family. As events unfold, it becomes clear that Molly harbors a troubling secret — yet the Winchesters’ own hidden truths prove even more sinister.
The film is directed by Paul Feig, whose previous work includes “The Perfect Voice” and “A Simple Favor.”
