“The Los Angeles Heist” starring Chris Hemsworth gets a digital release date

The digital release date for the high-octane action thriller Crime 101 has been unveiled by WhenToStream. The film is scheduled to join the Prime Video library on April 1st.

Inspired by Don Winslow’s novella (the author behind Savages), the plot centers on a sophisticated string of jewelry heists stretching across the Pacific Coast. While law enforcement officials suspect the involvement of Colombian cartels, Detective Lou Lubesnick (Mark Ruffalo) is convinced that a single, meticulous mastermind is behind the entire operation.

The star-studded cast also features Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Barry Keoghan, with Bart Layton (American Animals) at the helm as director. Since its theatrical debut in February, the film has grossed $70 million worldwide and received significant critical acclaim, currently boasting an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
