“The Guinness House” gets a second season

Netflix has officially greenlit a second season of the historical drama “House of Guinness,” according to recent media reports.

The series, which chronicles the legacy of the iconic brewing dynasty, premiered in September 2025. Set at the turn of the 20th century, the narrative follows the four heirs of tycoon Benjamin Guinness as they vie for control of the family empire. The cast features notable performances from Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, James Norton, and others.

Production for the upcoming season is slated to begin in 2027. The show was created by Steven Knight, the mastermind behind “Peaky Blinders.” Following its release, the series earned widespread critical acclaim—boasting a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes—with many reviewers drawing parallels to high-stakes dramas like “Succession” and “Downton Abbey.”
