The Future of Assassin’s Creed Will Be Shaped by the Lead Creators of Black Flag and Origins
A group of seasoned industry veterans has been tasked with charting the future course of the franchise.
Ubisoft recently unveiled the leadership team that will be responsible for steering the long-term evolution of Assassin’s Creed.
These specialists will oversee the brand’s development as part of the Vantage studio:
- Martin Schelling (Producer of AC IV: Black Flag and Origins) — now serves as the Assassin’s Creed Brand Head. He will be responsible for strategic planning and defining the overarching long-term vision.
- François de Billy (Production Director for AC: Origins and Valhalla) — takes the helm as the Head of Production Excellence.
- Jean Guesdon (Creative Director for AC: Origins and Black Flag) — appointed as the Brand Content Head. He is tasked with shaping the creative direction while “staying true to the franchise’s core tenets” and providing support for individual game projects.
The formal transition into these new roles is expected to be finalized within the next few weeks.
