Crunchyroll has confirmed that Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen — adapted from Gege Akutami’s manga — will debut exclusively on the platform on January 8, 2026. The upcoming season tackles the sprawling “Culling Game” arc, promising relentless battles and the return of key characters.
For viewers eager for an early glimpse, the feature film Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will screen in select theaters on Dec. 5, offering a condensed recap of Season 2 followed by the first two episodes of Season 3 presented in cinematic form.
Season 3 finds Yuji Itadori contending with the aftermath of Sukuna’s massacre in Shibuya and the heavy moral burden that follows. With Satoru Gojo sealed inside the Prison Realm and unable to intervene, Yuji must navigate increasing hostility within jujutsu society. At the same time, Yuta Okkotsu — one of the most formidable sorcerers and a former student of Gojo — returns to Japan with orders to execute Yuji, setting the stage for fraught confrontations. Suguru Geto, now operating as Kenjaku, sets in motion an elaborate scheme that threatens not only the jujutsu community but the wider world, all beginning with the sinister “Culling Game.”
