Taylor Swift made sure the staff at Gillette Stadium felt appreciated during her recent visit.
A recent photo finds the pop star seemingly tipping the Massachusetts venue’s service workers with handfuls of cash at Sunday’s (Dec. 17) Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots game, which she attended to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce from the crowd. Clutching a coffee cup with a No. 87 (Kelce’s jersey number) beanie pulled over her blonde waves, Swift stands in a doorway while handing over the bills, at least one of which is visibly a $100.
Billboard has reached out to Swift’s reps for comment.
Days after she turned 34, the “Anti-Hero” singer pulled up to Gillette to watch the game with her father Scott, who at one point appeared to hand out some of his daughter’s birthday cake to fans in a box suite next door. Swift also brought along longtime friends Alana Haim and Ashley Avignone, who she sat next to alongside new pal Brittany Mahomes, who’s married to Chiefs quarterback Patric Mahomes.
The 12-time Grammy winner has become a fixture at Chiefs games since she and Kelce started dating over the summer. A week prior to Sunday, fans spotted her at Kansas City’s home game against the Buffalo Bills, at which the family that owns the Chiefs bequeathed her with an early birthday present: a $5,000 bejeweled Judith Lieber purse shaped like a microphone.
Swift recently explained why she’s continued to show up to Chiefs games in spite of the extra public attention it brings her. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said in her TIME Person of the Year cover story, her first public remarks about the relationship.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone,” she added. “And we’re just proud of each other.”
