“Supergirl” Has Appeared Online
The DC comic book adaptation Supergirl has officially arrived on digital streaming platforms. The lead role is portrayed by House of the Dragon breakout star Milly Alcock.
The film struggled significantly during its theatrical run, failing to recoup its production costs; it grossed a total of $124.6 million against a $180 million budget, excluding marketing expenses. Furthermore, the movie received a tepid critical reception, currently holding a 53% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Supergirl follows the journey of Superman’s cousin as she clashes with the nefarious Krem of the Yellow Hills, played by Matthias Schoenaerts. The film was directed by Craig Gillespie (Cruella) and produced by James Gunn.
