Stupid Never Dies: Zany Punk Action-RPG Gets Fall Release Window and New Gameplay Trailer

The pop-punk-infused action RPG Stupid Never Dies has been on our radar for a while, and we finally have a clearer picture of when we can dive into its chaotic world. Developer GPTRACK50 has confirmed that the title is officially slated for a Fall 2026 launch on PlayStation 5 and PC.

While we are still waiting for a precise calendar date, narrowing the window to the autumn season gives us plenty to look forward to. To tide players over, a fresh gameplay trailer has arrived, offering a deeper look at the journey of Davy—the monster world’s self-proclaimed weakest zombie—as he embarks on an odyssey of transformation and self-discovery.

Catch the latest action in the official release window trailer below:

The latest footage highlights the versatility of Davy’s combat, showcasing all 11 of his playable forms. Beyond his default undead state, players can master the unique abilities of the Werewolf, Harpy, Golem, Vampire, Will-o’-the-Wisp, Cyclops, Snow Fairy, Merfolk, Lich, and Demon. Each form provides distinct advantages within the game’s fast-paced 3D arenas.

As the narrative unfolds, we see Davy—who is as much a coward as he is a zombie—driven by a surprisingly tender motive: he wants nothing more than to revive Julia, the woman he fell for at first sight, so he can finally take her on a date. Throughout his quest, his path crosses with an eccentric cast of allies, eventually leading them to unite against a formidable shared threat.

Stupid Never Dies is coming to PC and PlayStation 5 this fall. For more insight into why this title has us so intrigued, be sure to revisit our exclusive preview of the game.
