David Harbour, best known for Stranger Things, will headline Courtney Cox’s upcoming directorial project — a crime thriller titled “Evil Genius.” The movie is inspired by the true story of pizza deliveryman Brian Wells, who attempted a $250,000 bank robbery and told a teller that a device affixed to him would detonate unless the cash ended up in his pocket.
Harbour will star opposite Patricia Arquette. The cast also includes Owen Teague, Tom McCarthy, Daniel MacDonald, Harlow Jane and others.
The screenplay was written by Courtney Miles, who is known for the thriller “Mind Hunter.”
