Everstone Studio has unveiled a comprehensive content roadmap for Where Winds Meet throughout January 2026. This staggered rollout promises a steady stream of narrative expansions, new territories, and fresh gameplay mechanics arriving weekly, headlined by the major Version 1.2 update scheduled for January 8.
The month begins on January 4 with the introduction of Solo Mode Lv.10 Unbound and a new Hero’s Realm episode, “Sorrow of Mortalbound,” both designed to deepen the single-player experience and narrative-driven combat encounters.
On January 8, Version 1.2 officially arrives, bringing with it the Kaifeng campaign and Legacy Quests. This update also introduces the Nameless General World Boss and the Jianghu Martial Games, providing players with a variety of cooperative and competitive endgame activities.
Mid-month updates continue with the opening of the Mistveil Prison puzzle cave on January 15, followed by the launch of the Guild Battle Preseason on January 16. On January 22, exploration expands further with the debut of the Nine Mortal Ways Base region.
The January schedule concludes on the 25th with the “Whispers Beneath the Moon” story episode and two limited-time events: “Year of Abundance” and “Season End Dash.” These events are designed to wrap up the current seasonal arc while offering players a final push for progression and rewards.
